I’ve been struggling with a lot of things in my personal life lately. Big life changes and decisions have never been my strong suit and my life seems to be filled with them at the moment. This has led to many a sleepless night and frayed nerves…in short, I’m a bit of a wreck.
Tonight as I went out to enjoy the beautiful spring air and soak up the last of the vitamin D, I made a point of looking up. Big picture, life is good. I’m healthy, I live in a gorgeous neighborhood in a lively city, and some days the vistas are breathtaking (see above). I’m glad I decided to look up. To see the wisps of cloud cross the sky. To take in the sun’s rays. To watch the birds take flight. And even when I was looking down, I couldn’t escape nature’s beauty. To see the tulips blooming. To take in the new green of spring. To watch the squirrels scurry on their way.
While things aren’t magically fixed from my venture outside, I was reminded to keep looking up and that is what I intend to do.
I love how you looked up on the outside and knew it was healthy for your inside. I often find spending time outside allows my brain to hear and notice things. Things that take my mind in new directions and gives it a rest from what is wearing me down. Keep heading outside and looking up.

It’s crazy how when we slow down and just enjoy life for a bit it seems to rejuvenate us and give us hope for the coming day! Keep looking up!!!
